1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Website or using any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Cookie Policy. These documents together constitute the complete agreement between you and The Vanderbilt Portfolio regarding your use of the Services. If you are accessing the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and references to “you” in these Terms include both you personally and the organization you represent.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through a notice posted on the Website or, for registered users and subscribers, through direct communication to the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Services after the posting of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.
2. Description of Services
Relance 2030 is an independent intelligence platform within The Vanderbilt Portfolio, providing data-driven coverage and analysis of France’s economic transformation. The Services include publicly accessible editorial content covering six core verticals — Industry, Energy, Innovation, Finance, Europe, and Society. Additional services include a weekly intelligence briefing delivered by email to registered subscribers, downloadable research reports in PDF format, premium intelligence products available to institutional subscribers including priority briefings, custom research, direct analyst access, and structured data feeds, as well as interactive features such as content recommendations, search functionality, and commenting capabilities where available.
The scope, features, and availability of the Services may change over time. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of material changes that affect premium subscribers.
3. User Accounts and Registration
Certain Services require registration, including newsletter subscriptions, report downloads, and premium intelligence access. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information as requested in the registration process. You agree to maintain and promptly update your registration information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided during registration proves to be inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, or if we reasonably believe that your account has been compromised or is being used in violation of these Terms.
Institutional Accounts
Premium institutional subscriptions may include multiple user accounts under a single organizational license. The designated institutional administrator is responsible for managing user access, ensuring compliance with these Terms by all authorized users, and promptly removing access for individuals who are no longer authorized, such as former employees. The institutional subscriber remains responsible for all usage under its license regardless of which individual user performed the activity.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All content published through the Services — including but not limited to articles, analyses, reports, data compilations, charts, graphics, databases, software, website design, and trademarks — is the intellectual property of The Vanderbilt Portfolio and is protected by French, European, and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Permitted Uses
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial reference and professional use. This license permits you to read, download, and print content for your personal reference. It permits you to share links to publicly accessible content through standard sharing mechanisms. It also permits you to quote brief excerpts from our content in your own publications, provided that such excerpts are properly attributed to “Relance 2030, The Vanderbilt Portfolio” with a link to the original content where the citing publication is digital.
Prohibited Uses
Without our prior written consent, you may not reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content in whole or in substantial part. You may not create derivative works based on our content, including translations, adaptations, or compilations. You may not use our content for commercial purposes including resale, redistribution to paying subscribers, or incorporation into competing intelligence products. You may not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices. You may not use automated systems, including bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar tools, to access, collect, or index our content except as permitted by our robots.txt file. You may not frame, mirror, or otherwise incorporate our website or content into another website or service. You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without express written permission.
Premium Content Licensing
Institutional subscribers receive expanded content usage rights as specified in their subscription agreements. These typically include internal distribution within the subscribing organization, use in internal reports and presentations, and inclusion in regulatory or compliance documentation. The specific terms of premium content licensing are set forth in individual subscription agreements and prevail over these general Terms to the extent of any conflict.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Vanderbilt Portfolio, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Services. This includes but is not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which damages are sought, whether in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise.
In jurisdictions that do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. In no event shall our aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Services exceed the total amount you have paid to us for access to the Services during the twelve-month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred euros, whichever is greater.
Third-Party Links and Content
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services that are not owned or controlled by The Vanderbilt Portfolio. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party sites. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement of the linked site or its contents. Your interactions with third-party sites are governed by the terms and privacy policies of those sites.

Premium subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless cancelled by either party with at least thirty days’ written notice prior to the renewal date. Subscription fees are payable in advance for each subscription period. Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as specified in your subscription agreement.

You may cancel your premium subscription by contacting info@relance2030.com with your cancellation request. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current subscription period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused portions of a subscription period except where required by applicable law. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France. Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in this section limits our right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property rights.
If you are a consumer within the European Union, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU or national law.
10. Dispute Resolution
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at info@relance2030.com to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We will endeavor to respond within fourteen business days and to negotiate in good faith toward a mutually acceptable resolution. For consumers within the European Union, you may also submit disputes to the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Vanderbilt Portfolio, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law or regulation, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid, legal, and enforceable while preserving its original intent, or if such modification is not possible, it shall be severed from these Terms.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Vanderbilt Portfolio regarding your use of the Services. They supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof. For premium subscribers, the terms of individual subscription agreements supplement these Terms and prevail to the extent of any conflict.
14. Waiver
The failure of The Vanderbilt Portfolio to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of The Vanderbilt Portfolio to be effective.
15. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to any affiliate or successor entity without your consent, provided that such assignment does not materially diminish the protections afforded to you under these Terms.
16. Force Majeure
The Vanderbilt Portfolio shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms to the extent that such delay or failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, infrastructure failures, or interruption of telecommunications or internet services.
